SDB-005 is a synthetic cannabis based on indazoles that has been offered as a designer drug online. It’s thought to be a cannabinoid receptor agonist for CB1 and CB2. SDB-005 is an indazole core analog of PB-22 having a naphthalene group in place of the 8-hydroxyquinoline.

SDB-005 was previously assigned to a different chemical, the N-phenyl analogue of SDB-006, rather than the N-benzyl counterpart of SDB-006. This chemical is a strong agonist of the CB1 (Ki = 21 nM) and CB2 (Ki = 140 nM) receptors.
