This combo medicine is used to treat pain ranging from mild to severe. It comprises an opioid analgesic (hydrocodone) as well as a non-opioid analgesic (acetaminophen). Hydrocodone alters the way your body perceives and responds to pain by acting on the brain. Acetaminophen can also help in fever reduction.
